A Lorax Inspired Giveaway {Origami Delights}

We are celebrating the opening of The Lorax in movie theaters with a fun giveaway thanks to Origami Delights! If you have read the book or seen them movie, you will know that it carries a message about being being responsible for our environment. I've seen a party trend happening that I just adore, going green! Many party planners are consciously making an effort to use Eco-friendly materials from reusable banners and tablecloths right down to their party favors.

Recyclable party favors leads right into today's giveaway...

Origami Delights is offering the lucky winner a set of 30 RAINBOW SEED BOMBS party favors!

Seed bombs are made of recycled paper pulp. Inside each one are flower seeds. Just simply throw the seed bomb where you would like flowers to grow, water, keep moist and watch your flowers grow!

Wouldn't they make a terrific party favor or gift to hand out in a classroom?

We are big recyclers in every sense of the word...not only by recycling gargage in the recycle bin...but by being big believers in REUSING whatever we can. I buy 2nd hand items and when I have items that I don't need...I love to give things away on Freecyle.org!

  20. Hello, I was just doing a search for this very thing! My daughter's birthday is March 17th - St.Patrick's Day. What better gift to give her earth-loving little buddies then rainbow colored seed bombs! We have an organic garden but I would love to bomb this crazy little corner in our back yard too! To list the things we do to be friendly to mother earth: we drive a prius, compost, recycle, grow our own food, raise chickens for eggs, buy used instead of new whenever possible (clothes & toys mostly) and our daughter was born at home.

  23. I visited Origami Delights Etsy shop and I am all about the seed bombs and rainbows, but I really like the idea for recycling old maps into art. So the flowers made from maps really caught my eye.
